Poet, Grug Muse’s first prose volume, following her 4000 mile bike ride from Cape Cod to Portland, Oregon, an 80 day solo journey. This book will include words and personal pictures.

Between the two points, in the author’s words, there were thousands of things to consider and accommodate, the weather and hills, safe roads and traffic, places to sleep and eat, places of interest and those to avoid.
“The new-to-me bike, the black Surley Long Haul Trucker stands in the sunroom, alongside two sets of blue and grey bike bags; a pile of equipment for fixing the bike, that I haven’t got a clue how to use; water bottles; a tent and a sleeping bag; a copy of Don Quixote; biking clothes, a pair of flip-flops, sack loads of dried fruit and sweets and pots of peanut butter and chocolate.”
