Pamela Petro and Dominic Williams
Pamela Petro is an author and artist who lives in Northampton, Massachusetts with her partner, Marguerite, and her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Topaz. She is the recipient of a 2026 Guggenheim Fellowship. Her stint on an MA Program at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, in the mid 1980s, led to a lifetime love of Cymru. She teaches creative writing at Smith College and Lesley University, makes art when she can, and is writing a new book about hauntings. Her previous book, The Long Field, was named a travel book of the year by The Telegraph and The Financial Times, and short-listed for Wales Book of the Year.
Dominic Williams is a poet and performer. He has six published volumes and performs at international festivals. He is one half of the improvised spoken-word and movement act Your Strangest Friend with dancer Stina Nilsson and also part of the punk project Unbearable Error who released a vinyl LP Poetry is Dead. He is MC of Wales’ longest running spoken-word open-mic event, Cerddi yn Cwrw. Dominic’s poetry has been translated in various on-line journals into Welsh, Swedish, Hindi, Chinese, Arabic and Spanish.
