Vanished Wales – Places Lost in Living Memory is the book to accompany one of ITV Wales’ most popular shows. It explores the fascinating stories of lost landmarks: places in Wales that have disappeared within living memory. Including before and after images from the show and stories from local people, Vanished Wales is an epitaph of these once prominent places.

Carwyn Jones is a Series Producer, Director and Journalist at ITV Wales with 25 years of broadcast experience across television, radio and online at ITV and BBC. His ‘Wonders of the Border’ and ‘Dock of the Bay’ series were both Bafta nominated, and ‘Vanished Wales’ was RTS nominated. Now based in Cardiff, he studied at University of South Wales and gained a Masters at Aberystwyth University.
