his new book is a bibliophile’s joy, celebrating a world that if the digitisers get their way will soon vanish. Jeff has met everyone still around, visited the great collectors, rambled the States, sought the missing and found the lost. His stories of the literary hunt can read like Agatha Christie. These essays are certainly the wilder shores. Long may Jeff Towns celebrate them.
