Gwenno Gwilym is originally from Dyffryn Conwy but now lives in Dyffryn Ogwen. She enjoys writing in both Welsh and English, and often in a combination of both languages. She achieved an MA degree in Creating Writing from Bangor University recently and her poetry has been published in Poetry Wales, Cyhoeddiadau’r Stamp and Culture Matters. ‘V + Fo’ is her first novel.
With so many people in Wales today living their lives completely bilingually, the author hopes that this novel will demonstrate this rather than wasting words trying to explain. The author believes that the gap between Welsh an English offers creative possibilities leading to writing in Wenglish which is funny and natural at the same time.
